James Steeth has been DJing for almost 5 years now. At an early age fell in love with the Melbourne scene idolizing DJ’s such as Boogs, Luke McD, Spacey Space, Katie Drover and Sunshine. It was through his teen years he got a taste of what Melbourne had to offer and it is now in his early twenties through his residencies at 161 and The Bottom End and guest spots at Revolver, the Vineyard and Brown Alley where his years of hard work is starting to pay off warming up and supporting artists such as Seth Troxler, Superflu, Tonky, Davide Squillace, Ame, Francesco Lombardi, Claude Von Stroke, Dj Wild, Mano Le Tough, Andhim and Nice7. Being influenced a wide variety of artists such as Booka Shade, Todd Terje, Kink, Kolsch, Guy J, Psychemagik, Crazy Penis and Groove Armada: James prides himself on being a versatile DJ being able to adapt to a variety of different dance floors whether they be disco, deep house or even venturing into tech territory.
